Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Lillie Langtry
On my previous (very brief) visit, the place appeared so run down that I turned around and walked straight back out again. However, the front is now a bit tidier, and the building may have received a lick of paint. The interior is surpringly large, opened out at some stage to form a 'J'-shaped bar with a pool table at one end and the main seating area and sports TV screen at the other. The bar counter is quite long, but looks rather empty as there are only a limited number of fonts and no handpumps. Dull beer selection typical of an Irish pub, but at least they had authentic Tayto crisps, so it was quick pint of John Smiths (£3.20) and I was off...

Called in to see if it was still as bad as I remembered it and it does seem to have been spruced up a bit - not that a first time visitor would think so. Couple of small TV’s showing Irish football which seemed to be engaging the two old boys running the place. No real ale but had a decent pint of Guinness. Pool table. A bit of outside seating but the adjoining area was a bit like a building site. I can't help thinking this may become a building site in the not too distant future.

There is a very limited generic selection of draught in here and the governor wasn't the nicest person I've met this year. On the plus side they do have a dartboard and a pool table, but I don't think that these will make me want to ever return again.
