Nicely-located on Wooburn's large triangular green, this is one of those GK pub-cum-eateries with the usual coterie of meal deals ('Big Match Munchies' etc.) and has the usually mix of styles, with garish carpet and upholstery, and anodyne ale selection (GK IPA, Abbot and a 6 Nations brew called 'Grubber' - presumably a pale ale rework). Internally, there are a handful of vestiges to the past including a nice brickwork open fireplace to the right of the entrance-facing bar and some nice beams in the eating area located to the left and beyond the bar. Multiple flat screens aired an early FA Cup game on mute, with a varied musical soundtrack played in the background. Nothing to write home about, but it ticks enough boxes and the there were a fair few in to stand testament to that notion.
