Located on a roundabout on the busy London Road, a rough ten minute walk from the town centre, this has an attractive external brickwork facade. Inside it's a little bit more disappointing. A wood-panelled bar faces the entrance, with a high-ceilinged room to the left housing a pool table, jukebox, fruity and quizzer along with a high-mounted screen playing an R&B radio station. The room to the right, which is served by the bar, is more akin to a front room: beyond a central fireplace stack, are shelves holding house-shaped ornamental kettles and china plates, bric-a-brac and glasses cases housing Dinky cars and Hornby trains. The two beers were both from the Rebellion camp - IPA and Reformer - and rather than being served from handpump, were rather served from 22-pint barrel 'boxes' on the bar. Not brilliant, but palatable at £3.30 a pint. A bit of an oddity, and unless you're desperate to tick this one off, it's not really worth the trek out of the centre of Wycombe.
