Komakino . left this review about King George V
One of the few remaining pubs on the long London Road out of the centre of Wycombe towards Beaconsfield / the M40, this is set back from the road and at a 45-degree tilt. Low-ceilinged internally with a preponderance of black-painted beams, this has a semi staple-shaped bar with an open fireplace to the right, bench booth seating in all three front windows and table and chair seating in an area extending ahead to the right. Accessed via a small corridor to the left of the bar is a barnlike, high-ceilinged sports bar with a pool table, fruit machines, etc. (the pub has run a Sunday League team for many a year) which was not in use during my Sunday afternoon visit. The sole real ale was Fuller's London Pride, so marked more on the interior than the beer range.
