Blackthorn _ left this review about London Cocktail Club
As it’s name suggests, this is very much a cocktail joint rather than your regular pub, and as such there were no drinks available on tap. I think the only reason that it is listed here is because it was vaguely more pub like (although really more of a late night bar) in it’s previous guise.
Internally it’s very dark, both in terms of décor and lighting, as tends to be the norm in such places. The flooring was some sort of wood strip, whilst the ceiling had been painted black. Very dark wallpaper covered much of the walls, and this had a floral, and somewhat oriental style to it. Much fake foliage was hanging from the ceiling along with an open birdcage and a large crocodile affixed to the wall. Seating was a mixture of low comfy sofas arranged in a U shape at one end, with stools elsewhere. There looked to be a couple of snugs at the rear, although we did not investigate this.
There were unfortunately no draught options available as previously mentioned, although the bottled selection did include something from Brew Dog and Harveistoun, along with a couple of ciders from the Cotswold Cider Company. The cocktail selection was extensive though, with most of them coming in around the £9 mark, although they were doing a “2 for £12” deal when we visited. I opted for the Twizzle My Tie which was a little disappointing I thought. I’d had a Mai Tai at the Bristol & Bath Rum Distillery earlier in the evening, and that was far better as well as being cheaper and in nicer surroundings.
