Located in a dip in the road between Hazlemere and Totteridge, this is a semi-rustic building that's had a bit of internal modernisation of late. A smallish, rectangular bar area is located at the front, with a dining area situated behind the bar and accessed to the left. To the right of the bar, the area is cosy and contemporary with laminate floor and a closed dartboard that looks as if it rarely gets a working out. The area to the left of the bar is carpeted and houses standard tables and chairs with some bench seating opposite the bar. Some original beams have been painted over and there's a bit of exposed brick and wood to boot. St Austell Tribute was the go-to beer and was fine enough, coming in at £3.50. CW Bombardier Glorious English was the other option with a third handle unclipped.
