A tired two-room pub on the way out of Prestwood towards Great Missenden. The public bar on the right is the larger of the two, a tiled-floor area with the bar opposite the entrance, a fireplace far right and limited seating, although the wooden bench-style seating to the bar's right seems original. A smaller 'snug' is located to the left where the bar is smaller and a solitary handpump has an old school GK IPA clip with more standard tables and chairs. Two ales - Wadworth 6X and CW Bombardier Glorious English - the latter served, eventually, after the seemingly half-cut barman had taken my order, grabbed a glass, waited to finish his conversation with the three people seated at the bar, then retreated out back. You'd think it would have been poured from gravity, but it didn't seem to have that quality you'd expect. A bit tired and rather doggy-smelling - it has the potential, but on current standing, give it a miss.
