Located outside the main centre of Chesham amid rows of housing either side, this is a staple-shaped room with pool table and flatscreen TV to the right, quieter area to the left and locals populating the bar area in the narrow middle. A four ale line-up was unexpected, but a tetrad of Sharp's Doom Bar Amber, Fuller's London Pride, St Austell Tribute and the newly-badged Marston's Pedigree (iffy) brought me back down to earth. The locals were actually quite a nice bunch - a mixture of young and old, but I did take a comedic pointer back with me over the woefully short car park spacing lines.
