I have to say the beer quality in here was excellent, served from the friendly staff. The barman told me that they have a good following for their cask ales, which was evident. Five pumps, with four on, Grainstore Lord Minimus and Ten Fifty, Doombar, Oakham Flag Fen Bronze. Well worth a visit.

Next to the entrance of the London Inn is a small carpeted armchair seating area with fireplace that was being used by two elderly gents who looked to be very comfortable. To the right, along the front windows, is a flagstone seating area with high benches and barrels along with high stools that are overlooked by multiple television screens for showing sports, it felt a bit like being in a Rumbelows. That said, I only spotted televisions in this area, so it is possible to escape and just have background music as a distraction. Booths run up the left side of the pub to doors at the rear that lead to a patio area. There are a few high tables in the centre of the pub and the bar counter runs up the right-hand wall. The four hand pumps were drawing Sharp’s Doom Bar and Sea Fury as well as St Austell’s Tribute and Wells Bombardier. A standard and premium keg range was also available from the friendly staff. The food is cheap with meal deals such as two meals for £16 during the week. I liked it in here and would return.

Large and nicely-furnished pub on road junction, with rooms on different levels and an outdoor area behind. Although it feels a bit like a chain pub, it is in fact a locally-owned freehouse, which is a distinct benefit. Good for food and ales were very drinkable - Cask Marque listed.
