Apparently the local CAMRA POTY but we didn’t think much of it. Exposed stone and white woodchip wallpaper over a couple of rooms over a couple of levels all feeling rather austere and lacking any intrinsic charm. Three ales on, GK IPA, an atrocious Box Steam (taken back but not taken off, the snot nosed kid behind the bar who has probably drunk less pints of ale than I have owned socks seemed to think the looming honk of vinegar was somehow acceptable) plus a warm and flabby Lincolnshire Craft Bitter as the replacement. Bitterly disappointing, the local CAMRA branch need to have an inquest…

The Green Dragon is a decent looking stone built pub that is in the middle of Ryhall.
Once inside there was a basic bar to the right, this was a smallish oblong shaped room that was carpeted and had bench seating down one side and one table chairs on the other, there was a TV on but i did'nt notice what was on,the dart board was to the right.
There was a seperate lounge to the rear which was carpeted and was on different levels, this room had mainly normal tables and chairs, this room seemed a bit on the dowdy side to me.
There were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Oakham JHB which went down very well, the other beers were Star Lightfoot and GK IPA.
There were a few picnic tables to the front.
This pub was ok for a drink but not a longer stay.
