An interesting old building by the river with lots of beams and a rambling layout of rooms, including a couple of games rooms further in. The music and screens make it a bit of a young person's pub, but it wouldn't take much to change its character. Three handpumps had ales from Batemans - only XB on but it was in good condition.

The Lincolnshire Poacher is a very nice looking pub that is in bare brick with some very nice windows.
I went in the side entrance and this took me into a largish room with the bar at the far end this room was quite nice and comfortable and is the sort of room i could sit in and relax over few pints.
There were two real ales on the bar and i had a drink of London Pride and this was decent enough drink the other beer was GK IPA.
The landlord was very helpfull by letting me know which pubs had closed down in Spalding.
