This is a terraced hotel, so yes, it does accommodation. It is spread over two once speparate (i assume) Georgian styled buildings, in white render with black paintwork, with a beer garden. The interior has several rooms. There is a restuarant/carver area, which i didn't see; a lounge bar, in which we ate (food was fine) and a public bar. The bar is in cream and red patterned wallpaper, with a brown carpet and has pictures of cars on the walls. There is a dart board and and nice wood perimeter seating, as well as a nice fireplace. The service was a little mixed; some friendly, some a little stern. The place was busy with diners on the one occasion i visited and the bar with drinkers on the other, so it seemed popular enough. I didn't see a TV and the music was general at an OK level. Beer; i know real ale was on - Bateman's XB i think and i think there was a keg MILD (Theakstons?). Sadly i mislaid part of my notes for here, but i was happy i popped in.
