Just out of the heart of Winslow on Sheep Street, the road leading out towards Whitchurch and Aylesbury, this has a front entrance which one enters into a cosy snug with the base of an L-shaped bar facing and which has cosy settle-type seating as well as, oddly, a male mannequin adorned with Winslow RUFC kit. An elongated room to the right is down a step, with tables and chairs to the right set in front of one of the bay windows, towards the back of the room and up a few steps is an area housing a pool table and which has all manner of sporting photographs hanging on its walls and sporting trophies on shelves around the room. There's a couple of framed collections of old beer mats as well as a peculiar feature - an extensive collection of spoons affixed to the walls and beams in and around the bar. This at least takes some of the focus away from a pedestrian three-ale line-up - Tetley Bitter, Sharp's Doom Bar and Fuller's London Pride.
