Alan Winfield left this review about The Hume Arms
The Hume Arms is a fairly large looking pub.
The front door to this pub is out of use,you now enter from the car park at the rear.
Once inside there is a fairly large L shaped room with the bar facing, the floor is part tiled and bare boarded, there were normal tables and chairs to the front and some leather bench seating to the rear right, the ceiling is beamed.
There were four real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Taylors Golden Best which was a very well kept beer, the other beers were Hook Norton Lion,Youngs Hummingbird and Adnams Lighthouse.
There was some of that horrible concept background music playing during our Saturday dinnertime visit.
This pub is very smart and upmarket, meals were being served on boards.
Not really our sort of pub but the beer tasted nice here.
