A livelier counterpart to the nearby Cricketers, this has had a revamp in recent years and is now a staple-shaped affair with a pool table occupying the space eyes right and tables with diners around and back to the left. Opposite the bar a booth-type seats with hide-wrapped cushions. Ales on were Fuller's London Pride and Charles Wells Bombardier Glorious English.
