Village pub with both a bar and a lounge. Entering the pub from the car park, you walk straight into the lounge to the rear. There were no tables available, but there was a rather large dog in the middle of the room. After ordering, I retreated to the bar, which can be found to the front on the roadside of the pub.
The bar has a nice open fire in the centre of the room and is carpeted. There were a couple of TVs. One was showing motor cycling, with the other switched off. In addition, there is also a small outdoor area adjacent to the lounge and a grassy area with picnic tables across the car park. A local bus stops opposite the pub.
On the bar, the two cask ales were both from Greene King - Abbot & Spring Break. I'm sure there was a third handpull, but if it was clipped, I didn't note the beer. Keg beers included Tiny Rebel Clwb Tropica, Rebel IPA & Electric Boogaloo, Beavertown Neck Oil & Greene King Ice Breaker. Ciders were Aspall's & Carling Black Fruits.
I quite liked this pub. Both the landlady and locals were friendly. Not sure whether it's actually owned by Greene King or not, but you can certainly find it in the Good Beer Guide.

The Bugle Horn is a two roomed bare brick built pub.
Once inside the two rooms are staggered with the bar to the front left (we missed this room has it was'nt signed)and a smallish lounge to the rear right which is where we had a drink, this room was carpeted with bench seating and small stools.
There were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Jennings Cumberland and this was a decent drink the other beer was Banks's Lions Roar.
We were happy enough having a drink in this pub.
