Now part of the expanding Craft Union group, but the usual Doom Bar clip was turned around (there was a second hand pump too, but this was naked). I had intended to just have a whisky anyway, with a train to catch and the High Street looking a lot longer now than it had done when walking south an hour earlier. I'm used to the beer being quite cheap in these pubs, but my Glenfiddich was £3.50 - I may have to ask for orange squash and soda next time I'm in a Craft Union. It seemed pretty busy, with sports on tv and a couple of pool tables, but I didn't stay long enough to get a decent impression. Someone else's turn now.
