A done-up locals estate pub over two rooms and everyone was in the right hand side. Zig zag carpet, pool and 2x dart boards. Just one pump with Old Rosie cider, so a Guinness for me which was remarkably cheap. We were unlucky enough to drop in when a local firm of builders were having the Xmas do, so we were subject to scenes akin to the monkey house at the zoo as a number of them tried to be as loud and heterosexual as possible (doth protest too much…). Anyway, it’s fair enough for what it is, it’s in a good state of repair and the smattering of bewildered old boys seemed like a decent bunch.
