Alan Winfield left this review about Griffin Inn
The Griffin Inn is a large looking stone built pub in the nice looking village of Irnham.
We entered the pub from the side entrance which was on the main road this then gave us a choice of bar to the left or lounge to the right we went in the bar which was the larger of the two rooms, this room was carpeted and had a large fire place to the left, there were lots of leather settees to sit on and these were fairly comfortable,i thought the pub had a proper pub atmosphere to it.
There were two real ales on the bar plus a real cider i had a drink of Oakham JHB and this was a very nice well kept pint the other beer was Batemans All Seasons.
There may have been other rooms as we did'nt see what was through the main entrance.
I thought this was quite a nice pub and the landlady was very helpfull letting us know which pubs were open or closed and what time they opened.
