The grottiest pub in the village but as is the norm, the keeper of the best beer.
Went to three other pubs in the area and the ESB here was head and shoulders above everything else served and 2 of those were fullers pubs.
Cracking music - never entered a pub with Hawkwind on before!

A very pleasant little local pub, understated in appearance but quite cosy inside, currently owned by Fullers. The single bar is small but has managed to squeeze in a dartboard and tv screen. There are floorboards and fake beams, and there is a St George's cross nailed to the ceiling. The humour among the locals is earthy and fun, while the staff are welcoming and run a 'try before you buy' policy on ales. There were three ales on draft, one of which was a guest. The guest was Navigation's New Dawn, an interesting pint, very fresh and very well kept. I could happily spend an evening in this decent, basic boozer.
