Friendly pub not far from a small caravan club site so will be much visited this week. Food looked superb so I regretted having my salad lunch in the van. Unusual for us we sat with pints of Hop Back Summer Lightning and had 3 pints each before wandering back to site. The bar area is quite small so people sitting round the bar make it awkward for anyone waiting to be served. It could get manic when the pub is busy I suppose, but we coped ok. A lot of the tables were set for diners, but they were fine with us wanting drinks only. There is a small outside seating area at the front and a large carpark. A local bus 3.2 runs by it from Keyworth.

The Plough Inn is a nice looking pub that is almost opposite a large pond.
Once inside the pub had two rooms that i noticed with a smart lounge and a basic but nice bar, this pub used to be an Home Ales tied house and there was one real ale on here which was Home bitter and this was a very nice drink.
This pub still does real ales.
