Old Boots left this review about Harboro Hotel
Well I bothered and probably shouldn’t, four pulls; a version of Courage Best and a vinegary Black Sheep on sale. I was expecting a lot of South Asian bling from Quinno’s review but it’s just a crap makeover and yes the question is what is this trying to be? Hotel, Indian restaurant, cocktail bar? Search me. Anyway to describe the interior: entering there’s a mix of old style dark wood, maybe old floor, tall tables and stools, other rooms are off to both sides and are in mixed styles. Piped music and also a screen and machine. The casks were as mentioned but for keg lovers you will find five T-bars of various UK produced mock pilsners, dreadful ciders, Tetleys and Guinness. I didn’t even make my excuses, I just left.

Quinno _ left this review about Harboro Hotel
Odd - looks aged from the outside but inside looks like Gordon Brittas' leisure centre - green, gold and cream with a big conservatory to the rear. Three cask on, two from Grainstore. The Ten Fifty was vile murk (NBSS 0.5) whilst the replacement of Zahara wasn't much better (NBSS 1.5). Don't bother.

Blue Scrumpy left this review about Harboro Hotel
After finding many of Melton Mowbray's pubs closed, I was relieved to find one actually trading.
The Harboro Hotel is a large pub/restaurant/hotel that appears to be trying to capture every market. Food appears to be Indian, which is prepared at the rear of the promises.
For somebody entering for a drink, it can be disappointing. Black Sheep Best Bitter, Timothy Taylor Landlord & St Austell Tribute are the 3 real ales. None of them particularly appealed.
There are a couple of large rooms. As I was drinking only, I was requested to sit towards the rear, where large doors opened up to the kitchens and the car park.
Not particularly inspiring. But at least it was open.

Real Ale Ray left this review about Harboro Hotel
Slightly dated interior, but to my surprise had two crackin ales served here which were Dartmoor Brewery Legend and Penpoint Brewery St Nonna's. Staff and regs friendly and overall a very clean establishment. Will call again.
