Aged looking building that doesn't retain much history inside, though there's a bit of low-ceilingery and separate areas at the front. To the rear is a modern extension. The bar is separated by a dividing wall and the initial encounter gave me three naked pumps. I persisted and found the second part of it round the pillar, which had Pedigree (old age – NBSS 2 at a push) and a turned Rev James clip. Bar spasmodically manned and only about six other punters in on a Friday lunchtime so I’m not sure as to its long-term future especially as the scruffy, litter-strewn front garden made me think that the current owners have given-up. Hopefully better times are round the corner rather than it becoming a statistic.

The Old Thatched Inn is set sideways onto the main street and is named this because of its thatched roof.
The main entrance to this pub is at the rear and once inside the pub had been opened out into one large smart drinking area,this pub is a Marstons house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Pedigree and this was a decent drink the other beer was Hobgoblin.
This was'nt a bad pub but i think it looked better from the outside than on the inside.
