Marstons pub. Entrance porch with a scruffy COVID coloured and cheap laminate floored public bar to the left, dominated by pool, darts and a booming 70s music TV. Access to the basic garden here though somebody is keeping the potted flora watered. Old skool comfy lounge to the right side was not accessible, with a staff member doing some sort of jumbo object audit. Just Pedigree available but it was a very good drop (NBSS 4). Not somewhere you’d make a special visit for but if I lived in the village I might well pop in if the Pedi was consistently this good; a quality pint can certainly help alleviate other shortcomings. 5.5
