Less upmarket than its neighbour. Porch entrance, dining/lounge off right and small bar with darts and pool to left. A yomp down a long corridor gets you to a basic grassed garden. Modern and fairly bland interior that needs breaking up a bit, but not too shabby. Three ales, 2x Sharps and London Pride, a peculiar selection for these parts. Care was taken to pour-off my Coaster as first out and a good drop it was as well (NBSS 3.5); true also of the Pride (3.5). Whilst the pub's fabric isn’t much to write the home about, the cask quality means I’m likely to have another go next time I’m round this way.
