Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Royalist

1960s estate pub overlooking Bureford Green recreation ground, with a curiously spectral pub sign. Well presented in an unfussy way within, and the interior has an unspoilt look as it retains separate public and lounge bars. Landlord (£4.90) and Hobgoblin Original IPA clips on two of the handpumps, with a Robinson's Trooper clip on the third.

A typical looking estate pub, not something I particularly warm to , a bit of a hike out of town. It's well furnished inside verging on the cosy. Three handles on the bar top displaying Robinsons Trooper, Hobgoblin IPA and T.T Landlord, as Will explains the trooper wasn't available yet the clip remained unturned, like the rest of the group I chose to go with the Landlord which was in good enough condition.
The pub was fine but not somewhere I'd frequent on a regular basis due to location and middling beer offer.

Will Larter left this review about The Royalist

Not quite a flat-roofed estate pub, but certainly it's low pitched, and this is definitely an estate. I received a very warm welcome from my drinking companions, as I had finally made up for the hour lost to signal failure north of Leicester. There were three hand pumps each sporting a pump clip, but Robinsons Trooper was not on, the woman behind the bar telling me that my friends had all gone for the Landlord; I didn't ask if the Hobgoblin IPA was on, as I wouldn't have chosen it over Landlord anyway. My half was in decent condition (NBSS 3, £4.90/pint). The pub looks good from the outside, and is in equally good nick once inside too, though the slightly pink glow from the lights above the bar counter gives an odd tinge to a couple of my photos. Speaking of which, I was here on a photo mission 14 years ago, when the inn sign was a picture of a typical supporter of King Charles I; now it is completely bleached by sun and weather.
