The Olde Royal Oak is a nice looking three storey bare brick built pub this is just off the village green.
Once inside this was a very nice pub with a few different rooms,we had a drink in the room at the front, this room was wood panelled and carpeted with comfy seating, there was another small room further back down one step and a fairly large tiled drinking area near the side entrance, there was a seperate dining area to the rear of the pub.
There were five real ales on the bar with four from Batemans brewery, this brewery also had beer mats and other leaflets about it,but this is not a Batemans tied house.
I had a drink of Batemans XB which was a very nice drink, the other beers were Batemans XXXB,Salem Porter and Yellow Belly, there was one more beer on which was from College Green which was Molloys Chocolate Stout.
I thought this was a very nice pub to have a drink in,well worth a visit.

Homely old fashioned public house. Home cooked food including puddings. Good selection of well kept real ales. Fine selection of draught lagers and ciders. Fine selection of wines, spirits and soft drinks. Fully refurbished restaurant and large beer garden. Children's play boat/slide. Baby Changing facilities and disabled facilities available.
