Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Three Nuns
Since my last visit 15 years ago, the front of this Everards pub has been repainted and the signage has been replaced, both giving a slightly more modern look. The L-shaped interior has also been refurbished, but this still features plenty of wood and remains inviting. The front bar is pretty cosy on a cold winter day, but there is also a rather larger seating area further back. We found three regular cask ales - Tiger, Sunchaser and Old Original on the five handpumps, along with the 'limited edition' Unplugged session pale and Hi-Score session IPA. Pretty good overall, and the traditional building has a fine setting next to the main churchyard.

I rarely visit an Everards pub, or one that they have opened under their Project William banner, without being impressed, either by the quality of the building or the quality of the beer, and more usually both. I arrived here just after 1pm on a Friday to find the pub busy with people eating or else ordering food. But what's this? The four twenty-something lads who entered just before me were all ordering cask beers, as was the man to my left who had got served just before I came through the door. Hey, leave some for me! Luckily there was plenty of Tiger left for me, as well as for the CAMRA beer tourists I had arranged to meet. There were four other beers available, Sunchaser and Old Original plus two from the brewery's experimental line, one of which was being offered at £3/pint, so it must have been very experimental. The Tiger was NBSS 4, in my estimation, and £4.40/pint. If someone had cancelled the rest of the visit to Loughborough and told me to stay here until my train back to Sheffield nearly four hours later, I wouldn't have argued with them.

L shaped Everards refit pub, apparently known locally as the Six Tits. Quite wood heavy with some nice panelling at the back. Six pumps with five on, four of theirs and a Phipps. My Beacon Hill was on the turn (NBSS 1.5, dumped). Shame because it's not a bad pub in itself. Everards seem to be losing their grip on their tied houses over the last few years and this one’s a prime example – needs some mystery shoppers to flush out the poor cellaring.

This Everard's tied house consists of a long L shaped room , carpeted at the front and a parquet floor at the rear. The rear area seems to be more a drinking area although the bar counter is at the front. There was a very predictable 1980s music soundtrack playing.
Quite a few people in the front were or had been eating. I checked the menu to find that a Mixed Grill here was just £9.50, cheaper than most Spoons unless it's the Steak Club but it doesn't include a drink. It went down a treat with a pint of Old Original (£3.55). Other Everard beers were Tiger, Beacon Hill, Sunchaser and a Wadworth's Bishops Tipple.
I must have been to this one before in the distant past but had no recollection of what it was like. As with most Everard tied houses I thought it was well worth a visit.

Another decent place near to the White Hart. As in that pub, I've forgotten what I drank so would need to go back, but I don't remember the choice being as good as the WH.

A traditional pub with an L shaped lounge and bar area. The interior is mainly polished pine, which includes the bar and some panelling in the rear dining area. Six handpumps, with five ales to choose from on this visit. We went for the Everards Habit Ale and Shardlow Ale, which were ok, but would have tasted better only for the annoying choice of music been played.

Famed as the best Everards pub in town, the "6 tits" was definatly on our crawl list, but the quality of the beer let it down a little. Whilst perfectly drinkable, my Tiger was a little cloudy and the best was not much better. Inside, the pub is a little soulless, obviously catering for diners over drinkers. Worth a visit when the Tiger is on form.

Pub is known locally as the six tits.
They do very good warm mulled wine in the winter.
