'Contemporary Gastropub' with lectern greeter. Drinkers are tolerated with a small pair of tables in front of the bar. There's not really much to have a go at, they do at least have Charnwood Vixen in bottles though you'll be paying £6.50 for it. Polite service and the interior is done to an aesthetically pleasing standard, the bar looks like something out of a 1960s Swiss hotel. Large, if impersonal, rear terrace. Tick's a tick, as they say.
