An impressive looking Everards pub found in a residential part of town. This large corner pub consists of two rooms and a large function room upstairs. The main bar was on the left, which had a log burning stove and a quieter lounge on the right, with a pool table. The pub was refurbished last year and was traditionally done in keeping with the building. The barman was friendly and chatty, two ales on handpump Everards Tiger and a Tetley. The beer was well kept and prices were reasonable.
