It seems as if I very nearly bumped into Just a quick pint, then I'm off on my Sunday visit to the King's Head. I followed Google Maps directions to this pub and ended up in the High Street described below. It's a very narrow street where I had to conduct a 5-point turn to be pointed in the right direction for a sharp exit. As we approached the pub again on foot, it became apparent that the pub does have its own sizeable car park, which is accessed from Townside.

Inside, there is one long room split into different sections, with the bar in the centre. The 3 cask ales were as listed below. I assume we visited on the same day. I chose the Butcombe, as I hadn't had that in a while. It was in good form.

Customers were mostly of the younger variety. Although there was one slightly more elderly couple who had just missed the lunchtime food service by a few minutes. Several people were enjoying the sunshine in the outdoor patio to the front of the pub. The pub was better than I had anticipated. But I did prefer the Rising Sun at the other end of Townside.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Kings Head

Good-looking village pub in a strange location at the dead end of the quiet High Street that looks much more like a side street. Refurbished and partly opened-out interior with the bar in the centre, a lounge to the right and a dining room on the left-hand side. Butcombe Original and a pair from Timothy Taylor: Landlord and Knowle Spring (£5.30, and as good as you would hope for from a member of the brewery's Champion Club).

The Kings Head is a nice village pub tucked away at the end of the High Street in Haddenham where it creates a dead end.
The pub was apparently originally a Tap Room dating back to the 14th Century, although the current building is largely after the 17th Century when the building was badly damaged by fire.
Internally it retains a traditional décor with a carpeted main bar area with velvet covered bar stools and wooden tables and chairs and then a separate wood floored area with wooden tables and chairs which looked like it was primarily for dining.
Then externally there are wooden bench seating to the front of the pub and a nice secluded garden area at the back of the pub.
I believe it is Punch taverns owned and the three beers on hand pumps were London Pride, Sharp’s Doom Bar and Brakspear Bitter, which wasn’t the most inspiring selection , but the Pride was a well kept pint and the Kings Head was a very pleasant pub to enjoy it in.
