Quick revisit. Three Everards stagers plus one of their limited editions. My Old Original was good (NBSS 3.5) and this one should be checked-out if you alight in the town for the Pharmacie.

Run by Everards since 1922. It’s opened out a little but still retains a decent compartmentalised layout. Highlight is the full-length wood panelling in the left hand room. There’s also a nice cosy side room on the right hand corridor en route to the garden, which has an upright piano. There's a separate restaurant building via the garden, unusual. GBG listed with 3x Everards, a guest and a cider at the jump. My choice of Old Original spluttered and died but the young barmaid was on the ball enough to get the barrel changed over quickly and my pint was nice, if a little lively (NBSS 3.5). Pleasant locals, if a couple of them a little worse for wear. Rated 7
