A proper Deano boozer but I had a New York Deli (!) cob and a pretty decent half of Doom Bar (NBSS 3.5) in my paws when I took my notes and felt positive, especially after the pub disaster of nearby Rearsby. Awkward layout with two rooms opened-out a bit and a weird panhandle off left. Looks like a lot of money was thrown at this 10 years ago but basic maintenance thereafter is lacking. Darts and pool. I wouldn’t be averse to jumping off the bus again to see if I can repeat the experience, I thought this one was better than expected. 6.5
