This is not a bad pub on a road heading north out of Syston,the Gate Hangs Well is an Everards tied house with a good selection of their beers on the bar the Tiger Bitter was a decent drink and the pub seemed very busy on my visit lateish Saturday afternoon not a bad pub if you can find it.

Found this place by mistake on the main fosse way out of Syston,really nice pub there is a large patio,very large kids area, and a great adults only bit next to the river, everards real ale + a guest and the food was good too so a great find we will be back.
