Lives up to the name, a grimly whacked-through pub with utilitarian furniture that's quite glum and trades on the live music scene. Four pumps with four cask clipped but only two actually on. First shout of Brakspear Oxford Gold was murk with little comprehension at the bar as to why I took it back (NBSS 0.5). Replacement of Ringwood Razorback was passable (NBSS 2) but over-vented. Walloping modern music to an audience of about half a dozen (if you include the barmaid) in a Saturday afternoon. I shifted my ass without too much prompting.
