Long roadside pub. Elongated dog leg interior relatively modernised but has enough traditional touches to stop it being too boring. Food, darts. Naff maudlin ballad music playing. Three cask, a safe line-up of TTL, GK Abbot and Bass, the latter of which was in great nick and just lacked a bit of turnover on a warm Wednesday evening to make it truly excellent (NBSS 3.5). Easily the best in the ‘town’ part of Anstey. 6.5
