Looks like it's recently re- done and having a crack at being a community pub, what with there being an indoor car boot sale and homemade pickled items for sale on my visit. Inside is an odd white and sky blue combo, akin to being at the seaside. Various extensions and whack-throughs give it a jumbled feel. Off right is a neat little room which at first glance felt like the licensee’s own living room with a dog cage, sofas and book case. Rear garden with a sizeable tented smoking area. Two ales at the bar, Directors and a slightly rough Bass (NBSS 2.5). Amusement value in the recently refurbished toilets with casks to piss in with handpulls above each one to pull a but of water through afterward.
