Blue Scrumpy left this review about The Sycamores Inn
The Sycamores has a bar to the left and a lounge to the right, as you enter from the street. The bar has bare boards. There is a mirror at one end with a TV in the corner. This was off, with music playing instead. A drinking shelf can be found underneath. Otherwise, seating in the bar is at tall tables. There is a large brass clock opposite the bar. Walls are exposed brick, painted olive green. The lounge is larger and would appear to be where food (tapas) is served.
The bar itself is wooden. There are 4 handpulls. Bass is the regular cask ale. Guests on our visit were Sharp's Sea Fury, Timothy Taylor Landlord & Wadworth Horizon. Sharp's Atlantic was available on keg. There were no real ciders, but they did have Rattler & Aspall's. The drinks range would suggest that the pub is no longer under the ownership of Marston's.
Mulled wine & cider was available and there was a cocktail list on a board next to the bar. Another board promoted snowballs for £5.
There is an outdoor patio, garden & children's play area to the left-hand side, with a car park to the rear. The outdoor drinking area continues to the rear of the car park.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Sycamores Inn
Refurbished, food-led Marston's pub with various seating and dining areas. The bar has been given a rustic wooden look, with four high tables and a few stools by a drinks ledge at one end. Mix of furniture in the other parts, plus a sizeable patio beer garden to one side that is screened by a tall hedge. With two of the four handpumps in use, I found Wainwright (£4.60) and Pedigree on tap.
