3 roomed pub which features in the Good Beer Guide. There are 2 rooms to the front, one to the left of the entrance and one to the right, with the bar itself being in between the front right room and a small rear room.

We sat in the front left room, which is the largest of the 3. It has a dartboard, a TV in the corner, a fireplace with a tiled surround, a cabinet with sports trophies and old black and white pictures on the walls. Children are allowed and a few were present on our New Year's Eve visit.

On the bar, Marston's Pedigree & Courage Directors are the regular beers. Guests were Bass, Lancaster IPA, Little Tales Clockwork & New Buildings Cruck House. There was also a good range of boxed ciders - Sheppy's Medium Farmhouse, Orchard Dew & Cider With Raspberry, Thirsty Farmer Strawberry Cider and Orange & Pineapple Cider & Tardebigge Medium Cider. Brooklyn Stonewall IPA could be found on keg.

Certainly one of the better pubs in Hinckley town centre and well worth including on any crawl.

The Greyhound is an old fashioned locals pub, split into 3 rooms with with friendly bar staff and a decent interior. As Real Ale Ray points out all the three of the beer pumps were doubled up although there was only 2 functioning on my Wednesday visit but nevertheless i quite liked it in here and would call in again if in the area. Live music does takes place but not quite sure what days. Worth a visit.

A traditional Marston's house consisting of three areas. The largest room was the lounge area over to the left of the entrance, a small room on the right and a small enclosed room behind the bar. The bar area over on the right served the front and back rooms and the main central area.
Six pumps around the bar with some beers repeated. The Wincle Pale ale was our choice on the day.
This is a well run pub and is very clean and tidy. The only let down on our visit was the loud piped music at lunchtime.
