Alan Winfield left this review about Sharnford Arms
The Sharnford Arms is on the main road through Sharnford.
This is a fairly big pub and once inside this pub is a throw back to the 80s,they must have spent a lot of money doing this pub up but this was wasted on me.
On entering there were a few steps up to the bar which was up the left steps the right steps were for diners only, the bar was fairly long and the room had lots of tat including a large waggon wheel leaning up against the wall, there was a dining area to the left and rear of the main bar the tables in this area were laid out for diners but the area was empty,if you were lucky enough to dine here there were a few tables that overlooked an outdoor fishpond.
There were five real ales on the bar i had a drink of Pedigree and this was slightly off the other beers were GK IPA and Abbot, Hobgoblin and Youngs Special.
There were a few locals drinking at the bar and the rest of the pub was empty.
This pub is definatly not my cup of tea.
