Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Bull
Quite an old-fashioned community pub (in a good way), with a busy front bar featuring the sports TV and a quieter lounge on the other side of the central servery. Beyond that, there is a sizeable part-patio / part-grassed beer garden. Doom Bar and Tring's Side Pocket (£4.50) available on handpump.

A locally (or to use common parlance, 'community') boozer a few yards down the road from The Woolpack, set back from the road and hemmed in by housing either side. Two rooms - a Public Bar to the left on entry with standard wooden tables and chairs, dartboard and oche, jukebox, quizzer, TV and gambling machine. Lounge Bar down a small corridor and through a door, more cutesy and with some upholstered bench seats along with similar wooden tables and seating. There's also a decent-sized beer garden out back. Sharp's Doom Bar and a Harvey's Sussex Best which had travelled well (£3.70 a pint). My visit interrupted a game of Rummikub between the barmaid and the other sole punter to the background of a commercial radio station (Mix 96).

Small basic boozer at road junction, small serving area and a couple of gaming machines plus a telly. Only 2 real ales but extra point for the quality.

A good, clean, family-run pub, serving excellent home-cooked food. It has a nice beer garden/children's area, and if you're in to horse racing, then this is the place to be.
