Alan Winfield left this review about The Plough Inn
The Plough is a decent sized stand alone pub that faces some fields and backs onto a council estate.
Once inside the pub has got two seperate rooms with the bar to the right, this room ran across most of the front of the pub, there was a pool table and darts board in this room and the room seemed quite smart and comfortable, there was a tv on showing dance music, the lounge was to the left, this room ran to the rear of the pub and looked smart with normal tables and chairs, this room was being decorated on my visit so it was out of use.
There was one real ale on the bar which was Pedigree and this was a decent enough drink.
The pub was empty on my late Friday afternoon visit.
I got the feeling that pub would be for younger drinkers in the evening.
