The George Inn is a nice looking white painted pub that is on the main Ashby to Loughborough road.
Once inside the pub has got two seperate rooms with a smart beamed lounge to the front left and a smart bar to the right,we had a drink in the bar which was carpeted and more like a lounge than a bar, this room ran to the rear of the pub and had different drinking areas, there was a beamed ceiling and the seating was mainly normal wood tables and chairs with a few leather settees at the rear of the room.
There were three real ales on the bar i had a drink of Burton Bridge bitter which was a decent drink the other beers were Cottage Polar Express and Pedigree.
This is a very upmarket pub that was quite busy with drinkers and diners alike but i think it leans more to the dining side.
