Straightforward locals pub. Upside down T shaped interior with darts on the left spur and raised area to right. Green mustard and grey is an unusual colour scheme but it works fairly well. Some kids with their old man loosing off some arrows who were pretty good and made me smile. Nice little Coalville-based mural in the rear patio area. Three naked pumps so a Guinness for an astonishingly low price of £2.05, served-up by a friendly barman. As far as a cask-less local’s boozer goes, this one felt worth the visit.

The Engineers Arms is now called the Engine, this pub is situated Coalvilles main shopping street and it is opposite the Monkey Walk spoons.
Once inside there is a single room with the bar facing, there are no real ales on the here with only keg beers being available.
The pub describes itself as a pre club pub with lots of ice cold beers.
This pub is for the younger drinkers of Coalville.
