Former pub now converted into a bar with dance floor area. There are still some semblances of a former past with the in situ fireplace, original (now painted black) beams, albeit a wall-mounted dartboard and electronic scoreboard are merely for show. The cosy, Sunday Times Magazine room you walk through leads to the bar area, located to the right (no real ale), with the rest of the area set out as a dance floor, and (laughingly) with no-one in attendance late on a Monday night, the tunes still blasted out and the disco lights spun. What a waste of a characterful old building: this is crying out for someone to do the micropub thing to it...
