Komakino . left this review about Hit Or Miss Inn & Restaurant
A Hall & Woodhouse rustic inn with lots of exposed, dark wood and black-painted beams. There's a slight cricketing theme with bats and a set of stumps mounted on a wall in a dining area to the left, partially hidden by an open fireplace upon whose mantelpiece sits the letters of the pub's name spelled out in corks. There's a Parquet floor and a mixture of seating, varying from standard tables and chairs, to part-settle, bar stools and a sofa. The bar is entrance-facing against the back wall and the ale line-up comprised H&W First Call and Leaping Legend along with a watery King & Barnes Sussex Draught Bitter (£1.85 a half) with a fourth pump unclipped. The area to the right of the bar continued the seating area with another fireplace gives credence to the mention this is a former multi-roomer. A nice country inn stop-off with a patio out front for the warmer months, however, if you're not an H&W fan (which I'm not) you'll find the ale range rather limiting.
