A neat looking, stone built pub on the outskirts of the town. 2 rooms with a pool table in the left hand one. The right hand room is a smart, split level lounge, with lots of framed pictures around the walls. Most of the tables are made from old pedal sewing machines. Pretty busy on my Friday evening visit, with a real mix of clientele. 4 handpumps on the bar with Doom Bar as a permanent beer and 3 changing guests. My pint of Liverpool Organic Rakau was in good nick. This is a really nice pub and I'll certainly visit here again when in Rawtenstall.
