Traditional stone built old inn. As you enter the main lounge is to the right and a further small lounge straight ahead. There's a tap room effectively behind the bar with a dart board and a pool table. This is where I won my first ever darts trophy in 1975! There's a sign outside that says they sell "traditional ales", they're lying, they don't. There's only fizz on the bar although it is competitively priced. I was the only person in here at 2 p.m. on Friday. There's a faint smell of damp around the whole place which is slightly unpleasant. It must be 25 years since I was last in here. I think it will be at least another 25 before I'll visit again.
