Based on a street corner ,this is a vinyl emporium with a vast collection to the right as you enter.Choose an album and the barman will play it.There is a small stage to the right,so expect some live music, while further back on this side is a mixing desk. The rest of the pub is quite basic with a small bar at the rear right offering on my trip Farm Yard Hoof,Donkey Stone Ruby Treasure,Kirkby Lonsdale Ruskin 1875 and Oakham Citra (NBSS 3).Despite being 5pm on a Friday it wasn't very busy, maybe in term time it fills with students from the nearby university.
Worth a crawl visit, but not unmissable unless you like vinyl.

Basic rundown stoodi bar, the USP is the vinyl that presumably gets played at night? Good beer mind

This was my 10th pub of the day, so my notes were becoming sketchy almost to the point of non-existence. Suffice to say that it's a pub that does what it says on the tin: beer and records. There are six pumps with five beers on at the time of my visit on a Friday afternoon. And record racks. Probably worth a repeat visit next time I'm in Preston, as it's on the way to (or from) the Moorbrook.

a pub with a chequered history and several name changes has now stumbled upon something a bit special. it's a pub, cafe and vinyl record collection all in one. six real ales on and a really good selection with no bland nationals at all. Ramones' Road To Ruin on the record player, a favourite of mine so a 10 rating it is - this place really deserves to succeed, let's hope Heineken leave it alone

A proper pub. Nice little boozer smack bang in the Uni. All the students seem to bypass it (or so it seemed when I was in). 2 real ales. Good friendly service.
