Substantially altered 60s roadside pub just off the M6, the only one in this suburban village. Inside is basically a standard chain place for sports and family dining, with a single ale on (a pleasant enough Wainwright Gold). On a Saturday afternoon it was fairly quiet, maybe 10 or so drinkers in and no one eating despite the menus on every table. Pubs like this were really popular when I first started drinking 15 years ago, they seem to have fallen out of favour, but at least this one is still around to serve the locals.
